Far Away
I pray so that the winters cold dark night
is shortened quickly and that sweet springs bloom
returns you warm and well into my sight
And I may taste your lips and hold you soon
I hunger for you, my traveled darling
The time since we last touched is too long
I've since admired you from afar, pine-ing
but the time for our passion was then wrong
I wait in cold river for your return
I hope you are wishing you are soon here
The fires in my heart for you still do burn
I hold the memories of us so near
So until the harsh season fades to warm meeting
you have to remember my hearts still beating
