Sing! Sing!
April A.S. XXXV (MKA April 2001)
Sing! Sing! of the King of the Winter
Sing! Sing! of his Queen
King Berus was slain upon his throne
By his Champion no longer in name
As his blood ran crimson along the blade
The Queen's Champion fell to the same
Cry! Cry! for the King of the Winter
Cry! Cry! for his Queen
Said Queen was sent to a nunnery far
As the bodies were hauled from the floor
And the Heralds cried out across the land
For a man who could lead us once more
Cry! Cry! for a King for the Summer
Cry! Cry! for a Queen
Then tall stood the Prince with his rightful claim
To the Throne of Ealdormere
In the very same Court that day he was crowned
As the King of the Summer Year
Sing! Sing! for the King of the Summer
Sing! Sing! for the Queen
And the Lady he fought for, the Princess Carlotta
Was sworn in as Ealdormere's Queen
Court started anew and it carried on through
As the longest that many had seen
(So) Sing! Sing! for the Kings of the Northland
Sing! Sing! for the Queens
(Written on the occasion of the Coronation of Roak and Carlotta)
